01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the bustling heart of Kuching at 5, Q5A, Kampung Kenyalang Park, New Atmosferah Restaurant offers an authentic culinary journey into Pakistani and Asian flavors, with a particular emphasis on breakfast delights. This charming eatery invites guests to experience rich, aromatic dishes served in a clean, spacious, and relaxed environment ideal for family gatherings or casual meals with friends.

New Atmosferah’s menu is a vibrant tapestry of bold spices and traditional recipes. Their Turkish Beef Shawarma and Turkish Lamb Shawarma stand out as exceptional highlights—grilled meats marinated in a fragrant blend of olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, and warm spices, enveloped in soft shawarma bread. Each bite tantalizes the palate with a perfect balance of smokiness and tang.

The biryani selections are an explosion of color and flavor, featuring fragrant basmati rice layered with carefully spiced meats. Classic options like the Biryani served with chicken or beef kebabs offer hearty, satisfying meals, while the Fish Biryani brings in a delectable Malaysian twist—light, fragrant, and bursting with fresh ingredients. For a taste of traditional homestyle comfort, the Nasi Penyet dishes are equally enticing, with tender chicken or fried bawal fish smashed tender and served alongside sambal, cucumbers, tofu, and tempeh, offering a delightful contrast of textures and fiery flavors.

Visitors note the freshness and generous portion sizes—perfect for those seeking a fulfilling breakfast or lunch. Popular choices like the Plain Nan and fresh mango lassi receive consistent accolades, while the roti canai—crispy and sizable—invite diners to savor authentic Malaysian staples. The lively atmosphere is welcoming and calm, making it not only a great place to indulge in flavorful dishes but also to enjoy pleasant moments with loved ones.

Despite its popularity, New Atmosferah remains a tranquil refuge from the city’s bustle, though some guests have suggested stricter enforcement of the no-smoking policy to maintain the freshness of the dining space. Service is noted to be quick and attentive, ensuring that even during busy hours, diners are well cared for.

Whether you're touching down in Kuching and craving a comforting meal or simply exploring local dining gems, New Atmosferah Restaurant promises an authentic taste of Pakistani and Asian cuisine that’s rich in flavor and generous in hospitality. It’s an unmissable stop where every dish invites you to savor the heritage and warmth of home-style cooking.

Very nice place for pakistani food. However they do also have local dishes like nasi goreng etc. The 'Arab rice' is so good. Menu almost similar to 'mamak' restaurant only that the cooking style is pakistani style. One drawback they should improve: not to allow the the customer to smoke at their premis and be strict on it.

Excellent stop after coming into Kuching airport on the way to Kuching. Nans are really good. Roti Canai are big and tasty. Dahl could be better. Teh tarik could also be better. Overall, a very good place to eat. It can get busy, so parking can be difficult.

First time visiting, food is amazing, best Pakistani I have tried to date. There are SO MANY options I couldn't even believe some of the things I have seen like Roti Canai Ayam. All delicious and flavourful, service is quick and accurate. A must try if you are around.

Came here for breakfast. Tried the nasi kuning ayam. Good portion of rice and chicken, definitely worth the price tag. The sambal that came with the rice is also really good. Service is pretty fast even with multiple customers around. Drinks are quite cheap compared to other restaurants/eateries despite the similar size. Would love to come here again to try different menus as they have many varieties available. 10/10.

One of the best 24/7 eateries in town, pretty average, food are nice but not the best. Would be a really good option after 12am but there is better places to eat during the day. Great work keep it up!

i went here with my boyfriend for lunch before my work starts. overall, we are very satisfied with the food, environment and the service provided. the price were not that expensive but the food we ordered were all in big portions. i ordered the nasi biryani ayam and naan cheese while my boyfriend ordered black pepper chicken rice. the food and drinks for me were satisfying enough but my boyfriend thought that the black pepper could have been done better. some of the food, like chicken shawarma, are only served during nighttime. the dining space upstairs is also opened during nighttime only. nevertheless, the service was fast and the staff were helpful when we asked for takeaway food. we will definitely go here again and experience dining for dinner.

Order for Maggi Goreng Biasa & Teh Tarik Peng. The mee is nice but somehow they cook the mee using other substance rather than using the sachet original of Maggi Curry. It's very weird like I have at the other restaurant. The restaurant is 24 hours operating and convenience store 7Eleven located one row with the restaurant. Parking spaces is limited here. If you have the empty parking space. The luck is on your side! There is also another restaurant nearby "Nasi Kandar Line Q"
